The PROTEGO® ER/VH is a high-capacity emergency pressure relief valve that utilizes a lever-operated weight load to achieve specific set pressures. This design is particularly effective for storage tanks and process equipment that require mid-range pressure settings, generally between +25 mbar and +60 mbar. Like other valves in the series, it features "full lift type" technology, allowing the valve to reach its maximum flow capacity within just 10% overpressure. This ensures rapid emergency venting to prevent tank rupture during incidents like external fires, while allowing the set pressure to remain very close to the tank's design limits.
